Refund Policy
1. General Policy
Starlight Society offers personalized and custom-assembled products.
Due to the nature of these products, all sales are final, except in cases where an item arrives damaged or incorrect.
2. Personalized Products & Right of Withdrawal
Many Starlight Society products are personalized based on information provided by the customer, including birth details and custom-printed materials.
For this reason, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply.
Returns and refunds are therefore not accepted.
This exception is permitted under Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code.
3. Non-Personalized Items
Even when a product includes non-personalized physical items, these items are part of a custom-assembled box and cannot be returned separately.
4. Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Your message must include:
• your order number
• a description of the issue
• clear photographic evidence
After review, Starlight Society may, at its discretion:
• replace the affected item, or
• provide an alternative solution
Refunds are not automatically issued.
5. Minor Variations
Minor variations in color, texture, scent, material, or natural characteristics are not considered defects and do not qualify for refunds or replacements.
Each Starlight Society box is curated with natural and handcrafted elements, which may vary slightly from one edition to another.
6. Shipping-Related Issues
Starlight Society is not responsible for:
• delays caused by shipping carriers
• packages marked as delivered by the carrier
• lost or delayed packages due to incorrect address information
These situations do not qualify for refunds.
7. Cancellations
Orders cannot be canceled once they have been processed or shipped.
For subscription orders, cancellations apply only to future billing cycles and do not affect already processed boxes.
